Gather business requirements and perform analysis on present data management related applications, procedures and processes. Prepare High-level and Low-level design documents to translate the business requirements to technical specifications. Build extract / load / transform (ETL) process in the Snowflake Data Factory using DBT to manage and store data from internal and external sources. Design and build scalable data models using DBT, considering dimensional modeling best practices and business requirements. Develop complex data transformations and ETL processes within DBT to clean, enrich, and aggregate data from various sources. Optimize SQL queries within DBT to improve data processing speed and performance. Create custom DBT macros to automate data cleaning and validation processes, reducing manual effort and increasing data consistency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design DBT models that align with business needs. Work on Python script to automate the Data Processing. Work under supervision. Travel and/or relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout USA is required.
